Hypnagoga Press have released the second issue of The Solar Zine, along with the debut album Void by Altarmang – a new music entity by Kenneth Hansson and Pär Boström.
Void was first recorded during a non-verbal improvisation session in the winter of 2014, then re-recorded through effect pedals to magnetic tape. The album comes in both cassette and digital form. The cassette is packaged in a screen-printed paper box, made by Primeval Vision – side branch of the record label Aural Hypnox. The cassette is limited to 50 copies and only available in this issue of The Solar Zine. Check out the video below to explore the content of this issue.
Hypnagoga Press have included three interviews in the zine, glimpsing three sanctums. Altarmang share the creative and spiritual process behind Void. Antti Haapapuro describes meeting-points between Primeval Vision and Aural Hypnox. And the two of them discuss the Hypnagoga Press vision and mysticism as an undercurrent in most of their work.
For those of you who are subscribing to The Lunar Letter they are giving away a digital copy of the zine for free – you can download it here.
Here you can buy the cassette and the zine (digital album included).
